But never mention the father... Isn't he compromising too... His once beautiful wife... Who now faintly resembles the woman he fell in love with... His daughter... Who has started getting on his nerves...
But he has to bear with her... Cos it's his own child...
We all make compromises in life...
Some for good... Some for bad...
Tats y it's called life :)

Re: Duties of a Wife

For real? The instant in time when people make the decision to go back will always remain laden with infinite possibilities for the future - some much more positive than the path obtained by retracing. Tomorrow in either case is based on uncertainty - so the current situation is fine the way it is :)

Re: Jab We Met

poor sweet hot dumb zarine :P

Re: In Memory of Stripes

>>Flushed down the tank
I can't put my emotions into words.

Re: In Memory of Stripes

I'll send along your sentiments, but just to be clear - Stripes belonged to a cousin and not me.
I am also saying that the service provider is basically trying to pocket the entire consumer surplus, till the point the consumer threatens to move over to the competition.

Re: Retaining Customers

The point you are raising is in part one of the admin overhead and losses due to unavailability of quick change between service providers. If i could change my service provider everyday then we would get to see real competitive markets in action. But from the point of view of the service provider i think a simple task would be to offer such packages likezero rental for 2 months and 50 free calls next month and offers like these on a rolling basis so that the customer is simply linked to the anticipation of something useful and this opportunity cost of another service provider is taken care of by this anticipation.

My 2 cents.
Gopal

Re: Light Moods

I know this is to be taken lightly and I have taken it that way.
But, this represents our usual way of thinking, BIG people can get away with anything.

Re: Weird Dream

Interesting. So far, I've recouped half of the pure rupee amount. Sure, the problems should not have occurred in the first place, but hey, that's how technology is. So yes, you do get what you pay for. Another way to look at this is insurance. The premiums are high for a variety of reasons, but then the other option is far worse.

@Anmol: Probably agree with your point about the volumes. They wouldn't have the stylus in stock at many locations otherwise. Should be interesting to study. They did not have the HDD in stock, when it crashed last year. But it was shipped in less than a day.

Re: Dell Support (And Why It Is Great!)

Yes, Dell has always been excellent.
